The Project

We are planning to double our parking, children and youth space and worship space. This includes the expansion of our current church building and the creation of a new facility directly to the southwest of our current location which includes a new entry from Pennsylvania Avenue. We are early in the architectural process. As a result, the exact cost is yet to be determined. For example, an additional 20,000 square feet is estimated at between 140 and 175 dollars per foot giving us a range of 2.8 - 3.5 million dollars for that portion of the project.
We expect to build the new facility first and then expand and remodel our current space. In this way, we can build without disrupting our current ministries.

Funding

We will pay for the new facilities through our faithful giving, over and above our regular tithes and offerings, for 36 months beginning in June 2010. Depending upon what we raise in the capital campaign, the remaining funds required will be financed.
